These partners opted for a collaboration with Heskon to improve their product and also the service around the battery. Production and maintenance of the battery has been moved to Europe (reshoring) to support customers in a faster and more efficient way.
How has Heskon helped these partners?
- Lead time reduction:
Lead times for parts and replacement batteries have fallen significantly after moving the activities to the Netherlands. Custom battery packs are manufactured in small batches on request, making sure that delivery time and stock for the end user is kept to a minimum. - Redesign for specific applications
Based on specific customer demands, improvements have been made to existing batteries and new battery packs are being put together that better meet the requirements of the end user. For these partners we optimized the battery for heavy power tools and special electric vehicles that require more battery power.
